With the new innovative lighting design from LITE A/S, users of the swimming pool get a completely new experience when staying in the hall/water. The light provides a better color rendering of the water, and has transformed the swimming pool from being completely ordinary to a swimming pool in a special class. The hall is used for major events and swimming competitions, and Hjørring Municipality has achieved great added value with more visitors to the hall.

In connection with Hjørring Municipality's energy optimization, it was clear that the swimming pool (Vandhuset) in Park Vendia was one of the largest "energy guzzlers" in the municipality, and the municipality wanted a solution for this. They therefore contacted LITE A/S, who, after a few initial meetings, presented the municipality with the best energy-saving solution in collaboration with electrical installer Erik Lytzen.

In the swimming pool roof construction, RGB spot 200W was installed, mounted at the bottom of the visible roof rafters, so that the spot lights up the roof from below, which gives an absolutely fantastic effect. The light can change color in red, green and blue, which makes it possible to illuminate the entire ceiling in the hall in, for example, red for Christmas parties or other events. On the walls, 92 FLOODCOLOR S150W were installed, replacing the existing 400W ones, so the municipality already achieved enormous savings, as well as an improved visual expression in the hall.
