In July 2020, Tesla opened their 10th Supercharger in Denmark. LITE has supplied LYKTEN park luminaires for the charging station, and attention to detail has been paid - the park lamps are designed in Tesla's logo colors, white and red.

Supercharger in Ikast, with new V3 technology

In July 2020, Tesla opened its 10th Supercharger in Denmark. The new fast charging station in Ikast contains 12 charging stations with the latest V3 technology.

At LITE we are proud of the opening of the new charging station, both against the backdrop of a greener Denmark, but also because we have supplemented the Supercharger Ikast with sustainable lighting. Our recently launched park light LYKTEN, illuminates the area around the charging stations with indirect lighting. LYKTEN is distinguished by being able to be color-combined as desired, and this was obviously to do with Tesla's recognizable red and white visual identity.

With an increasing number of electric cars, and more Tesla charging stations in Denmark, it has been a requirement to build charging stations with a focus on green energy and sustainability. Intego A/S, which is Tesla's partner within electrical installations, has also previously used LITE as a supplier of lighting, to meet Tesla's requirements and wishes for sustainable charging stations. Before deciding on the new park lamp for the charging station in Ikast, LITE prepared a lighting calculation that visualized LYKTEN's indirect light on the square, as well as illustrations of the lamp in the red and white design.

At LITE, we are delighted that Intego has once again been chosen as the lighting supplier for one of Tesla's stunning charging stations. We hope that the new lighting solution provides a great experience for the many visitors, and that the LIGHT can help to emphasize Tesla's visual identity.
