In connection with the urban and landscape development of Nordhavnen in Aalborg, Nørresundby Boligselskab has constructed several beautiful architectural buildings. In this connection, LITE A/S has been helpful with landscape planning of the exterior lighting. Mariendal in Aalborg has carried out the beautiful piece of installation work.

To create an exciting urban space where young and old feel inspired, it has been a high priority to have security and inspiration as the focus of lighting planning. Therefore, several different lighting solutions have been chosen in the area around Nordhavnen.

Between the buildings, VISTA point spot has been mounted on a 5 meter mast. VISTA is an elegantly designed luminaire that blends beautifully into the surroundings. The luminaire can be supplied with several different dispersion angles and optics, which makes it possible to create an exciting expression in the areas where the luminaire is mounted, precisely to create inspiration. The luminaire and mast are supplied in RAL7016 for this project. Paint type: Akzon Nobel.

In front of the beautiful, exclusive apartments, which border the Limfjord, emphasis has been placed on good orientation lighting with low glare. It was important for the residents of the lower apartments not to experience glare or other discomfort from the lighting. That is why a DOME TOP bollard has been chosen, which provides beautiful, elegant lighting on the walkway itself, without dazzling the residents or other citizens. The DOME TOP bollard is supplied in the same color (RAL7016) as the other lighting.

As a supplement to the DOME TOP bollards, which are also installed along the boat berths at the quay, a HOUSE RISING luminaire has been installed in connection with each of the safety ladders at the quay edge to create better orientation for the boats.

In connection with the choice of luminaire for the parking areas, it was also important for Nørresundby Boligselskab to choose a luminaire that, in terms of design, fit nicely into the surroundings. Therefore, the choice fell on the CITYLITE street luminaire, which was specially painted with a black bottom and top, and the house itself in anthracite gray (RAL7016).
