In connection with the interior design of Inwido Denmark's new head office and showroom, I had the pleasure of collaborating with LITE. Inwido Denmark's new head office is now housed in one of the old warehouses at the port of Aalborg.
In terms of interior design, it was a challenge to design the beautiful old premises into a modern working environment that continues to highlight the original building. Lars Andersen from LITE has been responsive to our wishes throughout the entire process and has elevated the entire interior by adding lighting that promotes focus on the beautiful rooms and provides a fantastic atmosphere. We have been advised on the choice of lamps that provide soft light, hard spots and the right color effects, which has completed the space into a place that we are all proud of and want to stay in.
A good example of good guidance is our beautiful lamps above the desks: Due to time constraints, we wanted to stick to a standard lamp, but Lars convinced us to be patient with the special lamp he had selected for us. Today I am convinced that Lars' choice was absolutely right. These are beautiful lamps that complete the room in a completely simple and fantastically beautiful way.
I am extremely satisfied with the good collaboration we have had with LITE and highly recommend using a lighting designer like Lars for advice and recommendations regarding lighting.

Much effort has been made to blend the modern interior with the impressive structures of the stunning old building. Therefore, choosing the right lighting solution is even more important to really highlight the atmosphere, the exposed rafters and the building's other special features.
Innovative showroom and office
Inwido contacted LITE A/S for advice and guidance in connection with the design of Inwido's new head office and showroom at the port of Aalborg. The building that houses Inwido's new premises is an old warehouse, which in the process has been completely renovated and furnished as a modern workplace with a beautiful showroom and state-of-the-art conference facilities.
Much effort has been made to blend the modern interior with the impressive structures of the stunning old building. Therefore, choosing the right lighting solution is even more important, in order to really highlight the atmosphere, the visible rafters and the other special features of the building. A mix of lamps with color effects in soft and hard shades has been chosen to suit the different rooms and the features that are desired to be highlighted.
In the showroom, a solution has been created so that, depending on which product group you want to display, the lighting is matched to the logo color of the individual product group. All of this is supported by the background lighting in the surrounding rooms, which also changes to the logo color of the selected product group - this helps to create a complete atmosphere and enhance the impression.
Since the individual office environments are part of the overall showroom, it was important for LITE A/S to find a lighting solution for the workplace itself at the desks that elegantly fits into the overall picture. The choice fell on the red-dot award-winning pendant After 8, which with its unique appearance fits perfectly into the environment.
