LITE A/S (Light Innovation Technology) is a Danish company with headquarters and showroom in Nørresundby, with the subsidiary LITE AS in Norway.


We are a professional supplier of complete innovative and custom-built LED lighting solutions for indoor and outdoor use. In continuation of our work with LED lighting, sustainability has always been part of our DNA.

 

THE VISION IS CLEAR


LITE aims to benefit the environment and secure the future with more innovative and sustainable lighting products. Sustainability is a shared task that no one player can undertake, and therefore we would like to encourage others to take part in it!

LITE has adopted the following CSR policy, which provides a framework for what we must do as a socially responsible company.

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Environment, climate and quality



  • We handle and sort our waste responsibly.
  • We strive to recycle packaging and packing materials in our warehouse.
  • We encourage others to reuse packaging and packing materials for shipments.
  • We will, if possible, optimize our products with a focus on waste and circular economy.


Business practices and suppliers


  • We comply with applicable legislation in the countries in which we operate.
  • We respect human rights and will not contribute to their violations.
  • We do not use child labor or forced labor.
  • We will openly communicate our CSR activities and help promote CSR thinking.

& the global goals

Sustainable Development Goals

The UN Sustainable Development Goals were adopted in 2015 at a general assembly. The Sustainable Development Goals consist of 17 specific goals and 169 targets, focusing on a more sustainable development.


Working with the SDGs is an ongoing process, and the goal of these, like the CSR policy, is to operate the company in a socially responsible manner.


LITE recognizes the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and the following goals are those that we see as important and relevant to our company:

Health & well-being

With the correct lighting, light can have a major impact on humans and their psyche. Through lighting calculations and lighting design, we help optimize the indoor climate, and thus well-being in learning and working environments.

Goal 07

Sustainable energy

We have a goal that all of our production will be done using renewable energy (solar and wind energy, etc.).

Goal 08

Decent jobs

& economic growth

By replacing the linear mindset and economy, jobs are created through circular products and services.

Industry, innovation

& infrastructure

We create innovation based on a holistic approach, which helps pave the way for new sustainable initiatives and efficiency improvements in the industry.

Based on the circular economy, we will use our products to help support sustainability in cities and local communities.
