Syrestien- Nørresundby
At Stigsborg in Nørresundby, urban life, the fjord landscape and nature come together in a modern urban district with green connections and high-quality outdoor spaces. Here, the lighting has been developed with a focus on safety, aesthetics and consideration for biodiversity.
LITE has supplied the outdoor lighting with dynamic colour changing and intelligent control, allowing the light level to adapt according to activity on the paths. The solution reduces energy consumption and light pollution, while creating a safe and pleasant experience along the fjord.
Vand i midtbyen - Hjørring
Vand i Midtbyen is the result of a collaboration with Hjørring Municipality, where we have created a consistent lighting design that not only highlights the city center's identity and urban life, but also supports the story of the newly opened watercourse as a central part of the urban environment.
With Vand i Midtbyen, the pedestrian street and Mammutpladsen have become vibrant gathering points, where the lighting strengthens the life of the city and creates value for local businesses.
Vrå Børne- og Kulturhus - VRÅ
Vrå Børne og Kulturhus was voted School Building of the Year by Nohrcon through a vote and appointed jury. The school was awarded, among other things, on the basis of the building's good indoor climate.
LITE has worked purposefully with the lighting both inside and out and supplied ligths for the entire project.
Sports Lights - BK Amager
We have supplied sports lighting for Amager's most beautiful outdoor basketball court located in Tårnby.
Streetball Consulting, which builds high-quality basketball courts, contacted us for help with lighting calculations and delivery of lights for the new street court.
Kornets Hus - Hjørring
The North Jutland food culture center, Kornets Hus, was designed by Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter, who drew inspiration from a baking oven in its brick-clad exterior. Kornets Hus is located in the grain landscape south of Hjørring, where you can grow, learn about, bake with and taste history's most important food - grain.
LITE has supplied the exterior lighting, in the form of bollards, which create a play of light along the paths leading to Kornets Hus.

- KULTURBROEN, Aalborg
There were several challenges regarding installation and lighting, as it had to meet several wishes and requirements. LITE therefore had to make a design proposal for the construction of the handrail.List Item 2
- TECH COLLEGE, Aalborg
Techcollege wanted to replace their old lighting with energy-efficient LED solutions. This has resulted in lower energy consumption, better lighting conditions and a more sustainable operation. In connection with the urban and landscape development of Nordhavnen in Aalborg, Nørresundby Boligselskab has constructed several beautiful architectural buildings. - Lindholm Strandpark, Aalborg
The popular walking and cycling route from Kulturbro-Aalborg to Lindholm Brygge (Lufthavnsstien) has been fitted with new path lighting, to the delight of the many people who use it.
- Richard Thomsen A/S, Aalborg
When Richard Thomsen A/S built its new headquarters in Brønderslev, LITE A/S, in collaboration with Byens El-Teknik, designed and delivered an attractive and sustainable lighting solution.
- Port One, Aalborg
Skovly Ejendomme has transformed the old Handelsskole (business college) in Aalborg into modern apartments, with a strong focus on quality materials, thoughtful lighting design and affordable homes.
- Børnehaven Møllehuset, Farstrup
In connection with the extension and renovation of Børnehaven Møllehuset kindergarten in Farstrup, LITE A/S has supplied all the lighting. The solution includes general lighting with a daylight sensor, as well as accent lighting for the entrance area and the sensory-motor room.
- Tesla, Ikast
In July 2020, Tesla opened its 10th Supercharger station in Denmark. LITE supplied LYKTEN car park luminaires for the charging station, with careful attention to detail: the luminaires are designed in Tesla's brand colours, white and red.
- Tapdrup Udeliv Tennis
Many clubs invest in, or seek funding for, court lighting to extend playing hours at their outdoor facilities. It attracts new members and makes it possible to play in the evenings and during the autumn months – a real benefit for clubs that take part in tournaments.
- Nordlux, Aalborg
When Nordlux moved into its new headquarters on Aalborg's waterfront, the company wanted façade lighting that would catch the eye and put the spotlight on its area of business.
- IO Interactive, København
The world-renowned games studio moved into new premises at Gl. Mønt in the heart of Copenhagen. As part of the move, a great deal of effort went into the lighting design to make the facilities feel as spacious as possible.
- Sorø Tennisforening, Sorø
In September, Sorø Tennis Club inaugurated its new court lighting. At sunset, at 7:36 pm, mayor Gert Jørgensen pressed the button that switched on the facility's new lighting, marking the start of an 11-hour doubles match played through the night.
- Vandhuset, Hjørring
With the new, innovative lighting design from LITE A/S, visitors to the swimming pool get a whole new experience in the hall and in the water. The lighting improves the colour rendering of the water and has transformed the pool from an entirely ordinary facility into a swimming hall in a class of its own. The hall is now used for major events and swimming competitions, and Hjørring Municipality has gained significant added value through increased visitor numbers.
- Sergent- og Søværnsskolen, Frederikshavn
The Danish Defence wanted a better and more energy-efficient solution for its purpose-built swimming hall – without compromising on the high light levels the facility required.
- Restaurant Fusion
Restaurant Fusion is one of Aalborg's finest restaurants, with a fantastic location on the waterfront and views over the Limfjord. The restaurant has a modern design and feel, with great emphasis placed on an intimate atmosphere, while the lighting is designed to highlight the fine, artistic food.
- Femhøje Idrætscenter, Hjørring
A collaboration between Hjørring Municipality, VUC & HF Nordjylland and Hjørring Private Realskole has resulted in an impressive new stadium with an accompanying sports centre – one of the most sustainable of its kind in Denmark.
- Utzon Center, Aalborg
LITE A/S was brought in to help find the right lighting solution for the roof structure of the Utzon Center. The lighting needed to highlight the roof's highly distinctive architecture without drawing focus away from it.
- Hotel Scandic, Aalborg
The hotel's director wanted a restaurant with a modern, Scandinavian feel. At the same time, great emphasis was placed on the restaurant being cosy and intimate, so that guests would want to stay on – even after they had finished their meal.

Great care has been taken to blend the modern interior with the impressive, striking structures of the old building. That makes choosing the right lighting solution all the more important, in order to truly highlight the atmosphere, the visible roof trusses and the building's other distinctive features.
- Idrætscenter Vendsyssel, Vrå
The sports centre was invited to LITE's showroom, where staff could get inspired and see exciting lighting solutions. The centre also had an energy assessment carried out, which showed significant savings from replacing traditional fluorescent tubes with LITE's LED tubes.

Lighting is often the overlooked path to energy optimisation in public buildings — but the impact is significant. Hjørring Municipality experienced this firsthand at their 15,000 m² city hall.
